Man Power The personnel that make up 'Max Adventure' have a vast amount of experience, from a wide range of backgrounds. We consist of engineers, drivers, mechanics, environmental scientists, medics, communication specialists, pilots and designers to name but a few. The one thing that we all have in common is that we are 'adventurers', with a shared belief that this project is very important. Along with 'Max Adventure' personnel, we would hope to team up with volunteers from local organisations who live in the area. The ultimate aim would be to loan all volunteers with suitable clothing to protect them against the elements. We would also hope to feed and shelter them at the location, so reducing overheads and allowing us to complete the task as quickly as possible. At present, everyone associated with this project is doing so on a volunteer basis and as such have regular jobs. In order for this project to have maximum effectiveness, we would aim to establish a key full-time staff to co-ordinate the planning and execution of this massive recovery operation. |

Recovering Vehicle/Waste We will always plan to access the land in the most environmentally friendly manner, so that we never do more damage than the offending item has done already. This will mean making every effort not to leave tracks when negotiating protected grasslands (using tracked vehicles with a lower ground pressure than that of a human footprint), to bridge hedgerows and tensioned fences and only remove the minimum vegetation in order to gain access to the waste. In order for the media to give us maximum coverage, we will initially concentrate on the most difficult of areas - steep woodland, large ravines, fast flowing rivers, cliff edges and treacherous marshland. Once removed, we would transport the waste to the nearest suitable recycling centre and aim to pass the responsibility of its correct disposal onto the local authority.
